Every year there are a few events that I look forward to. One of the top events on my list is Savor Dallas. To say it is only one event, would be a lie. Savor Dallas is a weekend full of spectacular events throughout Dallas that focus on only the best food and wine.
Savor Dallas is not only about tasting delicious wine and food but about educating and entertaining food enthusiasts. Savor Dallas features selections from some of DFW’s top restaurants and chefs. I’ve been attending Savor Dallas for over 4 years and it just gets better and better each year.
Now that Savor Dallas is in it’s 11th year, it has become a signature event in the area. The four-day festival features educational and wine-tasting seminars, wine dinners hosted at premier destinations in the city and our signature events in Dallas’ landmark locations that include:
Arts District Wine Stroll, March 19th 5:00-7:30pm
Kicking off the Savor Dallas festival, the Arts District Wine Stroll is a popular mainstay of the weekend. Hosted amidst the nation’s largest contiguous urban arts district, its a feast for all the senses, providing the opportunity for guests to embrace the art while sampling tastings from local food artisans and culinary talent, along with fine wine and spirits. Venues include the Crow Collection of Asian Art, Meyerson Symphony Center, and Nasher Sculpture Center.

The Reserve Tasting offers epicurean enthusiasts an evening filled with the finest wines and spirits, paired with flavors from top Dallas restaurants and live entertainment. In addition, Goody Goody will be showcasing a selection of high-end Grand Cru Classe Bordeaux wines from the finest chateaux in France, specifically chosen by the Goody Goody Wine Team during yearly trips abroad. Look for some vintners to bring older vintages of their wines to demonstrate how the wines successfully age. Premier distillers will also be in attendance to introduce their claims to fame.
