Summer Events in Dallas

Summer is just around the corner! Be ready with my list of summer events in Dallas. I cannot wait to see what Dallas has in store for us this summer! Hot days, perfect nights, cool drinks, music, friends. Get ready because this Summer is packed full of fun things to do. Eye of The Collector: You can catch this event from April 16th to September 5th. It is held at the Perot Museum. Here you will find an amazing collection of very different people. You can check out everything from the largest Star Wars collections to the largest team memorabilia collector. This event gives us the opportunity to see these collections as well as getting a glimpse of what goes on in the mind of these awesome collectors.

Music In the Park: If you are on a tight budget or pinching the pennies this summer, this is the place for you. It is a totally free event going on almost every Thursday during the summer. What is more amazing than not spending a penny to spend the night under the Dallas sky listening to good music and making memories?

Stars and Stripes: Everyone’s Fourth of July is always jam packed. Beat the rush and head on over to South Lake on July 3rd and start the celebration early. Festivities start at 6PM and the fireworks start when the sun goes down. The celebration includes live music, children’s activities, and amazing food.

Parker County Annual Peach Festival: Celebrate those juicy summer peaches by visiting this event, which is on July 9th, 2016. They will be featuring 200 vendor booths that have everything from arts and crafts as well as three entertainment stages. This summer event in Dallas is perfect for the whole family. You will be stuffed with peach ice cream, peach cobbler, peach juleps, and anything else peach you could possibly think of.

Tour De Paris Bicycle Rally: Fun for the whole family on July 16th! This annual bicycle rally takes place through beautiful downtown Paris and Lamar County. There are five different routes that you can choose from, beautiful scenery, and plenty of rest stops. There are even rests stop with homemade cookies, what is better than that? How about the free homemade hamburger and fruit smoothie at the finish line!

One of the best parts of living in Dallas is that there are so many things to do around us. Gather your family and friends and get out there to make some great memories.
