Summertime is almost here! I absolutely love Summer for many reasons but one of my favorite reasons is for all the fresh, fruity drinks that are available. It gets HOT in Texas and nothing beats a fruit filled drink to cool you off on a hot summer day.
Admittedly, I’m a big fan of Malibu. It’s one of those drinks that I can drink straight and it will sneak up on you without you ever realizing. Depending on your drinking habits, that can be a good thing or bad thing. One of my go to drinks is a the Summer Rum Cooler. You can make this drink in a big batch or a single drink.
Grab your ingredients and let’s make the Summer Rum Cooler!
INGREDIENTS
- 1oz Tropical fruit
- 1oz Passion fruit rum
- 1oz Coconut rum
- 4oz Pineapple juice
- 1 Tbsp. Grenadine
- Cherries for garnish
- Ice
DIRECTIONS
- Fill your glass 3/4 of the way full with ice
- Add 1 tbsp. of grenadine at the bottom
- In a bar shaker add you three rums and shake to combine
- Now pour your pineapple juice on top

This is a great recipe to tweak and try different types of juices with depending on your taste preference. It’s an easy drink to throw together when you want a stiff sweet drink or if you need an easy drink for visitors.
