After having my baby, I needed something to get me up and moving. I was completely exhausted and needed something to make myself feel good. After pregnancy, our bodies go through so many changes emotionally and physically. After searching all over the internet and asking around, I finally found a company that provides workouts for moms and babies.
During these workouts, you can bring your little one while you get in a good workout session. I started with yoga and baby classes even though I had never done yoga in my life. It has been such a fun learning experience and something I look forward to doing every single week. Once I started to get more energy and got into a better routine of taking care of baby, I’ve added mommy and me fitness classes to my weekly schedule. I absolutely hate having to wake up at the crack of dawn to get me and my baby out the door but it’s so good for the both of us.
To keep motivated throughout the week, I’ve bought a few tools on Amazon that allows me to workout at home without my instructor pushing me to do so. I’ll find activities on pinterest or my trainer will text me good workouts to do around the house. It’s amazing how great of a workout you could get by just staying at home and using simple tools.
I’ve made a list of some of the items that can be purchased online to help you get back in the swing of working out at home. These items are all fairly cheap and can be used in so many ways. I use my yoga mat almost daily to either get some stretching in or to do a few poses to get my day started.

Working out doesn’t have to be at a gym. It can be as simple or as complex as you make it. The only thing that matters is that you start! Starting is the hardest thing to do but once you get in the habit of working out, it becomes a breeze.
