Fall Festivals Near Dallas

With temps leveling out in the high 70’s, this time of year is perfect to visit any of these fall festivals near Dallas. Get out and enjoy these great community events. Enjoy the music, take in the fall scenery at the Arboretum, eat some delicious food, and make some memories with your family and friends.

Autumn at the Arboretum: This fall festival lasts all the way through the end of November. There is so much to see you will not want to miss out. Pumpkins and gourds are in abundance, 75,000+ to be exact. The Arboretum has even built a house out of pumpkins. Wind your way through their hay bale maze and check out Cinderella’s carriage. There are also a lot of different events scheduled at the Arboretum. You can learn how to make a Thanksgiving centerpiece at the Pick of the Patch demonstration while the kids paint a pumpkin at the pumpkin painting station. Make reservations to enjoy a 3 course, seasonal tea at the DeGolyer Tea Room. Or enjoy lunch at the Oktoberfest Garten at Cafe on the Green where they are serving a traditional German menu until Thanksgiving. There is so much to do at the Arboretum. Enjoy live music, feed the fish, go on a free garden tour, or visit during Golden Hours where amateur photographers and artists can take advantage of the gorgeous grounds at the Arboretum. There are also several discounts listed on their website that will save you a few dollars.

Untapped Dallas: On Saturday, November 7, 2015 you can visit an amazing craft beer and music festival. There will be over 100 breweries with 400 different types of beer for you to enjoy. In addition to the suds that will be flowing, there is a line up of incredible bands that will play over 3 stages including Dr. Dog, Elle King, Lights, Cloud Nothings, and so many more. Depending on the type of ticket you purchase your visit to this festival can include a variety of samples and even early access to the event. There will also be a ton of magnificent things to eat including Easy Slider (home of the best mini-burgers), Samson’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, and even a sweet treat from Glazed Donut Works.

Festival at the Switchyard: Located about 20 miles out of Dallas in downtown Carrollton, there is a festival that takes place on November 7th that is packed full of live music, food, and entertainment for kids. In preparation of 3 Doors Down’s performance in the evening, there is a large line up of talented bands that are scheduled to start performing at 11 am. In addition, there is also a huge entertainment line-up for the kids including Dallas Top Dazzlers and competitive jump roping.

32nd Annual Beaujolais & Beyond Wine Festival: Enjoy tasting a variety of French and American wines at this fall festival. On November 20th, 2015 at the Irving Convention Center, this festival will take place in the evening. Your ticket includes a commemorative wine glass with food and wine tasting. One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesse One of my favorite things about 2020.... businesses adapting and making things work! I was recently introduced to @savageburritos and I'm in love. Savage Burritos is the love child of Uncle Julios so it you like UJ, you'll love Savage. They are a delivery only service offering burritos and bowls from select Uncle Julio kitchens in DFW. We ordered a variety of items from burritos, bowls, queso and more. Every single item was bursting with flavor. If you like spicy, I highly recommend the Nashville Hot Chicken Burrito. πŸ”₯ Don't forget to add on a Margarita pop - nothing beats alcohol and Mexican food delivered straight to your door!

I know this year has dragged on and on for many pe I know this year has dragged on and on for many people but it has flown by to me. I'm 100% sure it has something to do with welcoming Myles into this world during the height of a pandemic and keeping a toddler alive at the same time. I can't wait for Christmas morning to make memories with my little family (even though Christmas shopping isn't complete and I haven't even thought about wrapping presents). It will all fall in to place, it always does. We didn't attend our favorite Christmas events this year or get pictures with Santa so this random Santa picture will do and I'm 100% happy with it. If this year has taught you anything, let it be finding the joy in the little things ❀
The holidays are quickly approaching! πŸŽ„ Althoug The holidays are quickly approaching! πŸŽ„ Although things might be a bit different this season, we're still enjoying some of our favorite foods and traditions. This year we're incorporating ordering family meal kits from @chuysrestaurant for not only my family but extended family that we might not be able to hang with this holiday. It's a simple way to spread the joy with loved ones, eat delicious food and not forget the reason for the season. #ad #nachoaverageholiday
Family pictures are always so much fun.... this ye Family pictures are always so much fun.... this year we got to attempt it twice thanks to sweet Bryce. Thankfully the second time around he cooperated. As painful as they may be, I'm so glad we get these done every year. I love looking back at them and see how much we've all changed and how much the kids have grown!
Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We Can y'all believe the end of the year is here? We got our family pictures back and they look great other than the fact that Bryce decided not to participate. We got one shot with my entire family and Bryce is off to the side playing in poison ivy. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

We felt very comfortable inside with their safety protocols. Temperatures were checked before entering. Everybody ages 4 and up must wear a mask. Hand sanitizer was readily available throughout the entire space. If you're looking for a fun outlet for your child to explore, check it out!
