Red Bull Thre3Style is a DJ contest that promises to be a night of dance-floor mayhem. The participants play a selection of at least three genres or styles of music in 15 minutes. It doesn’t matter what genres of music are chosen so long as the DJ can make them work together and keep the crowd dancing. The participating DJs are judged on their track-selection, technical skills, creativity and most importantly their ability to bring the house down.
Hot off the Red Bull Thre3Style Dallas local qualifier at It’ll Do in January (which saw a capacity crowd get rocked by Dallas’ best), this Regional Final, which includes the winners from each of the local qualifier events in the Southern/Midwest region (held in Austin, Houston, Dallas, New Orleans and Kansas City), will produce one winner that will advance to the Red Bull Thre3Style National Finals to be held in Los Angeles. As if that
isn’t enough, there’s also a pretty hefty prize purse on the line.
