Blog· Events

Update: the Festival this weekend is cancelled due to rain on Sun and the wind today was blowing over porta pottys and forecast says the wind will be twice as strong tomorrow.  The stage company said 25 plus mile an hour wind would take the stage down the way it is right beside a lake.

What’s better than spending your weekend with food trucks, live music and a cold beverage? Nothing. So head out to the 13th annual White Rock Lake Festival.

Saturday and Sunday, November 10 – 11, 2013.

  • Saturday: 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Sunday:   11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

This year’s Festival theme is “Tunes & Trucks” featuring some of the sweetest bands in Dallas and some of the best food trucks around: [Ssahm Korean Tacos • Crazy Fish • The Lab Food Truck • Doughboys Pizza Truck • CNJ Catering The Butcher’s Son • Gandolfo’s • Four Season’s Food Truck • Chili Pepper Grill • CupCakin]. All of this greatness will be situated along the lovely shoreline of White Rock Lake. Festivities also include pet adoption, a petting zoo, face painting, and plenty of arts and crafts.

Admission is $5.00 at the gate. Children age five and under get in free.

Proceeds raised by the festival are used to help maintain and beautify White Rock Lake Park.  A great way to support the park we love!
