Carnival Cruise Line Debuts Carnival Live Experience at Cowboys Game + Guy Fieri Tailgate Giveaway

Carnival kicked off its partnership with Cowboys as the team’s “Official Cruise Line” earlier this season. I had a chance to attend the Dallas Cowboys vs New York Giants to get a small taste of what Carnival is now offering.  As a Cowboys’ fan, I was stoked to not only learn more about Carnival but to also see the Cowboys whip some New York booty. 

Before the game, all game attendees were invited to attend a pre-game concert in the West Plaza of AT&T Stadium performed by Rascal Flatts.  Rascal Flatts is the most-awarded country group of the past decade with 22.5 million albums sold and 15 number-one singles. Carnival also announced that Rascal Flatts, one of the hottest selling acts on tour, will be among multiple artists who will be entertaining guests as part of the Carnival LIVE Concert Series in 2015 (next year’s concert dates will go on sale in October).

Rascal Flatts were so personable and nice. We were able to get our picture taken with them but will post it once we get it back from the photographer! Before the concert started, Carnival had another surprise in store for us.  Chef, restaurateur and best-selling cookbook author, Guy Fieri hosted a Burger Battle with local contestants. By working with chefs from Legends Hospitality, local contestants created create their best tailgate burger. Fieri chose a grand-prize winner who will receive a Caribbean cruise for two on a Carnival Fun Ship.

For Cowboy’s fans with Big D appetites, Fieri suggests one of the secret menu items he developed for Guy’s Burger Joint on Texas-based ships. To create his “Big Tex” burger, grill up two burger patties with Super Melty Cheese. On a bun, add Donkey Sauce, thin pickles, and the burgers, followed by a scoop of roasted green chili salsa, lettuce, tomato and tortilla strips piled high.

After Guy Fieri, it was time for the one and only, Rascal Flatts! Once Rascal Flatts hit the stage, the crowd went wild. They played a hand full of songs for the crowd.

A first-of-its-kind in the cruise industry, Carnival LIVE debuted earlier this year and offers Carnival guests the opportunity to enjoy an intimate on-board performance by a diverse roster of popular music artists while ships are docked at select ports of call.  Artists performing as part of the inaugural 2014 lineup include Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Jewel, Styx, Kansas, REO Speedwagon, Daughtry and more.

At each game at AT&T Stadium, Carnival’s “Fun Crew” is touring the lots on branded golf carts and offering exciting prizes to fans, including the chance to win one of many cruise vacation giveaways! Don’t miss them at the next Cowboys’ game you attend.
