Nespresso Opens Texas Flagship Store at NorthPark Center

Calling all coffee lovers! If you haven’t visited Nespresso’s flag ship located conveniently at North Park Mall, then I urge you to head there asap. Coffee fuels me, it is the one thing that keeps me going each and every day so when I heard about the Nespresso store I was more than happy.

I stopped by the store while Tim Gunn was in town. He is their brand ambassador and I couldn’t think of a better match for Nespresso. His style, personality and charm is everything that Nespresso encompasses. I was pleasantly surprised with how nice he was. Let me clarify that I didn’t think he would be mean, but I wasn’t expecting him to be so personable. I got to chat with him about coffee and style. There were a few people asking for wardrobe advice, his opinions on hair color, etc. He took each question and answered them nicely. Gunn said that he doesn’t give advice to anybody who doesn’t want it, which I thought was great. I don’t ever want someone’s advice unless I ask for it so it made me appreciate him even more.

We ventured through the large store located on the first level of North Park and got to taste test many different types of coffees and espressos that Nespresso carries. The store is full of many different machines that are available to purchase. Each store employee is very knowledgeable about each product and was great help with the million questions that I asked.

Not only does this location sell machines, but they have an area called the Carpe Diem Lounge that is located at the front of their store. Their lounge offers all types of coffee, espresso and desserts for you to enjoy. So next time that you’re at North Park and need a ‘pick me up’ stop by Nespresso and give one of their coffees a try.

I am not a coffee afficinado but I know what I like. I received a Nespresso to use at home. I was excited to see if the machine was really as easy as it looks. The VertuoLine is their newest machine that makes both coffee and espressos. I was highly impressed with the capsules that the Nespressos used. Each capsule has a bar code that is engraved into the side. So once you put the capsule inside the machine, the machine reads the bar code and knows exactly what to do. You don’t have to do a thing other than put the capsule in.

I’ve had my machine about a month now and have enjoyed it thoroughly. I don’t go a day without using it. If you’re in the market for a new coffee machine, I highly suggest the Nespresso VeruoLine. If anything, stop by the NorthPark store and see what Nespresso is all about!
