Where are my phone freaks? If you’re like, you’re constantly upgrading your phone to the latest and greatest phone available. Last month I pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S8 and to my surprise, it showed up at my door before promised. I was so stoked and couldn’t wait to play with the phone and check out the features. I’m a huge fan of Samsung and their previous Galaxy phones so I knew I was in a treat with the S8.
I’ve had the phone about a month and I’m still learning everything about it. One of my favorite features is the camera. The quality is out of this world and I no longer have to lug around my DSLR when attending events. The Galaxy S8’s expansive display stretched from edge to edge, giving you the most amount of screen in the least amount of space. The larger screen means you can see more while scrolling less and let’s be honest, we’re all constantly scrolling on our phone playing on Facebook, Twitter and Insta. The Galaxy 8 might have a larger screen but it’s no wider than the Galaxy S7, plus its slim profile and curved design mean it fits easily into your palm.
The infinity screen is so large, it has space to use two apps at once. Watch a video on half and text with a full size keyboard on the other. Talk about multitasking at it’s best! Although all of these features are great, the one problem I have when purchasing a phone right when it’s released is finding good protection for it. Thankfully, phones are getting sturdier and sturdier but one drop at just the right angle can end up costing you hundreds of dollars.
I’ve broken many screens in my life and it’s not cheap to replace, especially when you’re working with screens like the Samsung S8 infinity feature. It’s usually hard to find a great case when a new phone is released but I found the perfect one for my phone.
