As you all know, Dallas has been blessed with The Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Take advantage and check out the Spring attractions that the Arboretum has to offer. What better place to spend some time while the sun is shining?
This is a great place to go because it has something for everyone and lots of events to choose from for all ages. For example, for younger kids you would want to check out the Little Adventurers Activities. This event is tailor made for our Pre-K and younger cuties to engage them, work on their senses, and fine motor skills. So not only are the kids getting outside to play, they are learning while they do it which is always a win- win. It starts most mornings Monday through Friday at 10 AM but be sure to check their calendar.
For our readers that are a little bit older and who want to experience Spring Attractions at the Arboretum, check out the Cool Thursdays Concert Series that has everything from Elton John to the Rolling Stones tribute bands.This is a great option if you are in the mood for some good food, yummy drinks, and most of all good music. You are welcome to bring a picnic basket of all your favorite goodies or for those of you who are like me and hate planning ahead there is always some great food trucks onsite for you to enjoy. Don’t be discouraged if the weather gets crazy outside, the Arboretum will arrange to move the concert indoors to the Rosien Hall so you are guaranteed a good time no matter what it looks like outside. Another cool thing about this event is that if you have 15 or more people in your group you can get a killer discount off the price so be sure to invite all your friends.
