Cooking is a passion of mine. It has allowed me to explore foods, learn about their nutritional value and to discover foods I have never heard of. Not only am I learned through the whole process but it’s a great stress reliever for me. When I get in the kitchen, everything gets wiped off of my mind and I’m at peace. I cook at least 4-5 times a week and try to cook mainly from scratch.

I recently discovered Suddenly Grain Salad and love them! One of the reasons I’ve added it to my weekly grocery list is because I can add lots of great protein to the salad or serve it as soon as it’s done cooking. It’s very versatile and a great addition to any meal.
There are 4 Servings per container but you can always buy more to increase the batch size. It only takes about 20 minutes to make the salad from start to finish. The great thing is that you don’t have to slave over the stove the whole time. Just boil the rice and once it’s done cooking mix in ingredients and you’re done!
