Yahoo On the Road Brings Empire of the Sun to Dallas on May 20th

Yahoo! On The Road – the ultimate mobile entertainment and innovation festival – is pulling into Dallas on Monday, May 20^th. The tour hosted by entertainment industry insider, Ben Lyons, is zigzagging across America with new talent in every state looking to stop you in your tracks with entertainment and inspiration.

For each concert, fans will participate in various challenges for the opportunity to attend the show or a chance to meet one of the hottest bands. Details will be revealed throughout the tour via the Yahoo! On The Road™ site and on Twitter at @YahooOnTheRoad. Tasks might be as easy as taking a photo with the Flickr iPhone app or submitting a stunning weather photo for Yahoo!’s new weather app. Before you do anything, follow them on Twitter and Like their page so you’ll be the first to know how to win tickets on Monday!

There may or may not be some awesome surprises in store, so stay connected to them (and head to the downtown area early afternoon). You didn’t hear that from me.

At night, Empire of the Sun and Gold Fields will take part in an intimate show exclusively for Yahoo! users. If you’re one of the lucky ones who gets a ticket voucher, be sure to get to the House of Blues EARLY! Don’t wait til showtime to show up because you probably won’t be allowed in. Your ticket voucher will be turned in for a ticket and if you wait til the last minute, it’s very possible that all the tickets will be gone. When the venue is full, no one else will be allowed in.
