Exploring the State Fair of Texas with My AT&T Go Phone + Giveaway

Blog· Entertainment

Fall is my favorite time of the year. The weather is amazing and Dallas is flourishing with events and fun things to do. Recently, the State Fair of Texas strolled through town and like any normal Dallasite, I visited more than a few times.

Even though I’ve always gone to the State Fair since I was young, it holds a place in my heart. Two years ago I got engaged during October. The day after getting engaged, my husband and I spent the day walking around and making memories and talking about our future. We make it a point to go every year and recreate that special day. State Fair of Texas

There are a few things you must do while at the Fair. Fried Food is on the top of that list. I’ve tried most of the fried foods,(because how could you not?), but my favorite this year was the Fried Cookie Dough. It’s crunchy on the outside and tastes just like cookie dough on the inside. Same consistency and everything. It blows my mind every time. Fried Cookie Dough - State Fair of Texas We usually walk through the Midway but never play any games. Mainly because I really don’t want anything else to carry around and if I won a huge stuffed animal, I wouldn’t know what to do. I need my hands so I can eat all the food!

Noshing on a Fletcher’s corn dog and a fresh root beer while looking at vendors is one of our favorite parts of the fair. I love visiting the many vendors. There are so many that it takes a couple trips to visit them all, unless you spend all day at the fair. Fletchers Corn Dog State Fair This year, my favorite company to stop by was the AT&T booth. If was interactive and fun with a photo booth, charging station and I was even able to design my own bag with State Fair of Texas icons! Isn’t it amazing? tx state fair

Anytime there is a photo booth, you must get in and take pictures. The best thing about the AT&T booth was that the photo booth was interactive! We took a few pictures and they emailed me my amazing gif. goodtogoI’ve been using an AT&T Go Phone and I’ve loved it! It’s a pre-paid wireless service allows me to have unlimited talk, text and data usage with the first 1.5 GB at high speed for only $45. I’ve been with many other service providers that cost me over $120 a month so this is such a great savings. If you have friends and family across the border, there is a $60 monthly smartphone plan that offers unlimited calling from the US to Mexico, plus unlimited talk, text and data usage with 4GB at high-speed. That’s cheaper than most calling cards!

I love that there is no annual contract and I have the flexibility to choose a plan that fits my needs instead of being forced into a plan that doesn’t work for me. The smart phone I’m using as my go phone is a ASUS ZenFone!

The first thing I would do is explore the plan options that would be best for me and my family. Then maybe we could take a trip to the zoo.

I’d give it to my son so he can call me to pick him up from school or sports…no more miscommunication!

I’d call my mother! Then it would be onto texting.
